Overall a very good, but pricey range. We purchased it about two weeks ago, so do not yet have extensive experience with it. It replaced a GE smooth top range, simply because of a remodel to stainless steel appliances.
The reasons for purchasing this range were because of the dual oven design, Whirlpool ratings, and this unit has the largest top oven of any units of this design. Also, it matched a previously purchased Whirlpool gold french door refrigerator.
So far the only negatives we have encountered are preferences. The hot surface warning light is about the size of a pin head, as opposed to the old GE's much larger light, and the clock uses a blue light, which is hard to read at a distance. Also, the unit has one "feature" which was probably mandated by safety concerns issued by someone who has never baked anything - when the timer goes off, it turns the oven off.
